The run up to Christmas can be a really magical time of year, but it can be a stressful one too -...
About us
Meet Alice, founder of My Self-Care Edit and Pregnancy Yoga UK.
Where I started
My yoga journey began as a way to manage anxiety and improve my mental health. From the very first week of practicing, I fell in love with the feeling that yoga gave me both physically and mentally.
Making time for you
My aim as a yoga, meditation and breathwork teacher is simple; to encourage others to take some Me Time, to prioritise their wellbeing and to experience the magic that taking a few minutes out of your day just for you can bring.
My background
Over the years, I've continued to train and expand my knowledge, to be able to best support my students. I hold a 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training certification from Yoga Union Bali, which is Yoga Alliance certified. Deepening my understanding of the human body and its mechanics, I have also completed Yoga Anatomy Training led by the esteemed Jason Crandell. This training provided me with invaluable insights into how the body moves and functions in different postures, enabling me to guide my students with greater precision and safety. Over the years I've also completed a 150 hour Meditation Teacher Diploma, Mental Health First Aid qualification and 150 hour Yoga Diploma to further support my wonderful students.
Supporting prenatal & postnatal students
In 2021 I completed a 65 Hour Prenatal & Postnatal Yoga Teacher Training with MOGA®, to better support prenatal and postnatal people throughout their journey. I aim to create a safe and nurturing space for prenatal and postnatal people during this exciting and challenging time in their lives. For more information, take a look at @pregnancyyogauk
