With Valentine's and Galentine's celebrations just around the corner, love is in the air. Full disclaimer, Valentine's Day isn't really something I tend to celebrate (you should show your love every day, am I right?!) but it does offer an opportunity to explore self-love, and how much we are giving to ourselves compared to others. Self-love and self-care go hand in hand, and as the saying goes, "You can't pour from an empty cup". To love and be loved, it's important that we love ourselves - here are 5 journal prompts to help you cultivate more self- love:
- In this present moment, what are you most proud of?
- What is something about yourself that you've grown to love?
- What do you think you need to make more time for at the moment?
- What do you need to let go of?
- What steps can you take to love yourself more each day?
Take your time to answer each question, and perhaps leave your answers somewhere you'll see them every day this month. You can use them as a reminder to check in with yourself, and show yourself some love - after all, you are AMAZING!
