There can be a lot of negativity in the media, but if you search it out there's a lot of kindness and happiness too. What we read can impact how we feel, and in turn how likely we are to share kindness and positivity with the world - my go-to source for joyous news is The Happy Newspaper.
2. Try a random act of kindness each day
Research shows that helping others can be beneficial to our own mental health. It can reduce stress, improve our emotional wellbeing and even benefit our physical health.
